Vineyard:

Trystren's Vineyard planted in 2011.  This vineyard vines are Self Rooted growing in soil that is 70% sand and 30% clay deposit by the Missoula Flood.  The area feature rolling hills with average rain fall of 10 inched per year.

Tasting Notes:

Blackberry, orange blossom, mushroom on the nose. Herbal notes of lavender and blackberry. Heavy-bodied with medium astringecy. Bold, medium finish.

Winemaker Notes:

Hand sorted before crushed and de-stemmed, 2020’s Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in heat with punch-downs twice daily. Completed Malolactic fermentation on lees and Aged 27 months in neutral oak. Subtleties from age masked in youth provide a crisp mouthfeel over red fruit and a bold structure. Bottle age 5-7 years.
