White pepper, toasted nuts, black olive, vanilla on the nose. Red fruit and mushroom over savory rounded tannins and subtle fresh acidity on the palate. Low astringency, medium-light bodied. Medium finish.

Winemaker Notes

First vintage harvested and produced by the estate, hand-sorted before crushed and de-stemmed. Aged for 20 months and bottled unfiltered. This blend encompasses every varietal grown in vineyard Trystan, co-fermented on the basis of necessity for the elimination of headspace in vessels. Proving a fortunate result, 2015’s Red Blend has transformed throughout extensive bottle aging, seemingly disparate elements becoming positively integrated and increasing complexity each year. In this blend lies benchmark balance and integration, of which our team has been seeking to replicate since.
