Tasting Notes:

Red fruit, mushroom, smokey. Savory mouthfeel, well-integrated fine tannins, medium acid. Medium astringency, heavy structure. Lasting finish. 

Winemaker Notes:

Fermented and aged separate, 2020’s Syrah and Viognier blend finds its roots in the Northern Rhône Valley. Within the region this blend is typically composed of under 20% Viognier. Boasting a similar climate, our Viognier lifts subtle complexities out of the Syrah otherwise hidden. Blended pre-bottle, 7% Viognier and 93% Syrah. 25% new French oak. Bottle age 5-6 years.
